RedPodium and Shopify, connected properly

Shopify RedPodium Integration, Built, Tested and Handed Over

A Shopify RedPodium integration has no confirmed native link in our research. ActiveCampaign's RedPodium page lists Shopify without detail and Pabbly has a BigCommerce coupon flow, not Shopify. RedPodium runs registration pages for athletic events, so registrants can get coupons or buy merchandise. Podium is a different company. We build, test and hand over, from $390.

  • Registrants matched to Shopify customers
  • Event discount codes created
  • Merchandise sold to entrants
  • Test log and a recorded handover

Who this is for

Six Reasons Owners Book Shopify RedPodium Integration

Race and event organisers selling merchandise want entrants to reach the shop. These are the cases we build for.

You are a good fit if
  • Your store runs on Shopify
  • You have, or will open, a RedPodium account
  • You want a fixed price and a written scope
  • You can share the access we ask for
  • Event organisers

    Registrations are tracked.

  • Organisers selling kit

    Merchandise is a Shopify product.

  • Teams issuing codes

A form can create a coupon.

  • Teams matching entrants

    Registrants map to customers.

  • Teams on Pabbly

A BigCommerce flow exists as a pattern.

  • Buyers confusing results

    Podium is a different company.

Problems solved

Shopify RedPodium Integration: Six Faults We Fix First

Event-to-store links fail on codes and matching. These are the six faults we fix.

The problem

Codes shared widely

The outcome

Margins suffer. We limit them.

The problem

Entrant not matched

The outcome

Orders lose their runner. We match on email.

The problem

Native assumed

The outcome

Nothing syncs. We confirm.

The problem

Podium confused

The outcome

The wrong product is used. We confirm.

The problem

Retries repeat

The outcome

Records duplicate. We check first.

The problem

No handover

The outcome

Setup is unwritten, so the next change starts from guesswork. We write down the triggers, fields and tests.

An integration is best judged when you can see it. The picture shows the pieces we build for RedPodium: the records on each side, the status of every link and the log a person can read.

How We Build Your RedPodium Integration, Step by Step

Six stages, in order. Nothing touches live data until you have seen it work on a copy, and your calculator choices decide how long each stage takes.

  1. 1

    Brief and scope

We ask what you sell, how RedPodium is used and which events matter. A short review of your orders and bookings shows where the flow should start and what it must never do.

  2. 2

    Access and connection

We ask for the smallest access that works, via an API key or an OAuth sign-in. A live read confirms it before we build on top of it.

  3. 3

    Map and rule

We map date and time, capacity, attendee name and ticket type, then agree which side wins each conflict and what blanks should do, in writing.

  4. 4

    Build in a copy

Nothing is built on live records. The flow runs on test data first, and you see the plan, plus a recording if useful.

  5. 5

    Test on real cases

The tests cover a full session, a group booking and a cancelled ticket, along with refunds and edits, and we check each result against Shopify.

  6. 6

    Go live and hand over

Once you approve, we switch the flow on, watch the first runs and hand over notes, a diagram and a short recorded tour.

How We Protect Your Orders and Customer Data

None of these costs extra. They are simply how we work.

Failures raise a flag

A failed run alerts a named person with the order and the reason. Silence never means success.

Counts compared, not assumed

Once data is loaded, we count both sides, so missing or doubled records show up early.

Narrow access, in your name

We ask for the least access that works, through an API key or an OAuth sign-in, and every account stays under your ownership.

Secrets kept in a vault

A secure vault holds every key and token; none appear in notes or chat.

Plain scope, two revision rounds

You see the price before paying. Changes within scope go through two structured rounds, so a tweak never becomes an hourly invoice.

A written definition of done

We call it complete when a full session, a group booking and a cancelled ticket work as agreed and the log proves it.

The essentials: RedPodium connected, one flow built to confirm the booking and hold the slot, tested end to end.

  • Secure RedPodium connection via an API key or an OAuth sign-in
  • A trigger for when a bookable product is paid
  • Date and time, capacity and attendee name matched across both tools
  • Every write protected from duplicates
  • Checks on a full session and a group booking
  • A log of the tests and a short recorded tour

RedPodium will confirm the booking and hold the slot, issue the ticket to the buyer and release the slot and note the refund, with filters, retries and a failure alert.

  • Everything in Single Workflow
  • Three triggers: a bookable product is paid; a ticket order is placed; an order is cancelled
  • Ticket type and custom fields mapped
  • Tag, country and value filters
  • Failed runs retried, then reported
  • Checks on a full session, a group booking and a cancelled ticket

Two-way sync with history loaded, a fortnight of monitoring and a runbook your team can follow.

  • Everything in Core Workflows
  • Both-way sync with a winner for each field
  • A one-off catch-up of earlier bookings
  • Two weeks of monitoring after go-live
  • Access and roles review
  • Runbook with the rules and the fixes

Projects beyond these packages, such as custom objects, heavy history loads, multi-store designs or a custom API build, are scoped and quoted at a fixed price after a short call.

How many orders pass through the store in a typical month?Required

More orders means more queuing, throttling and testing.

Should data move one way or both ways?Required

Fields that both systems change need a written winner.

Is your RedPodium account empty or full of data?Required

Existing records must be matched before the first sync.

How soon do you need it live?Required

Standard follows the schedule your other choices set. Pay to move up the queue and go live sooner.

Optional extrasOptional

Each one begins switched off. Turn on what you need, watch the total, switch it back off.

Why Store Design Expert

Why Hire Us to Connect RedPodium and Shopify

You are paying for judgement and for a result you can inspect, not for hours.

Notes a colleague can follow

We document what moves where and which settings we picked, so the next developer starts informed.

Experience since 2015

Over 450 Shopify stores since 2015 mean we have seen most of the odd cases that break integrations.

A price you can plan around

Prices and extra days are visible for each package and option. Plan fees for RedPodium come from RedPodium directly; its pricing page has the latest.

Safety designed in

Every build includes retries, alerts, unique keys and narrow access; none are paid extras.

4.9+ from verified clients

The reviews here come from verified clients of Store Design Expert, so you can judge past projects before you pay.

Tested on your real cases

Your real scenarios are the test plan: a full session, a group booking and a cancelled ticket.

What we need to get started

What We Need From You to Begin

We need a way into your store, a RedPodium account and a short brief. Pick the access route that suits you.

Approve a collaborator request

Selling already? Send the address and accept a collaborator request. You keep ownership, we get a limited role, and you can revoke it at any moment.

Starting from nothing? We build first

We can start in our own Partner account, set up the store and the RedPodium link, then transfer ownership to you. A Shopify plan is chosen at the end.

Or share a staff login

Sharing a staff login is possible. The collaborator route is safer, though: one click removes it and no password is passed around.

Your RedPodium access

Create the account yourself and invite us, or ask us to create it with your email. Either way you hold the owner role, and we use an API key or an OAuth sign-in.

Sample records

Two or three representative records from each side are enough. They show us the true shape of your data.

A decision-maker

We need one person to approve the plan and the test, plus a rule for what wins when RedPodium and Shopify clash.

We never need your owner password or payment details. Access is limited, logged and removable at any time.
