Find Your Question, Then Go Deeper

The questions below are grouped by topic, with links to the pages that explain each in full.

Most questions come down to six things: how ordering works, what things cost, how a job runs, what we need from you, what is and is not in scope, and what happens after launch. The answers are short on purpose, and each topic links to a page with the detail.

If your question is not here, the quote page is the quickest way to get an answer, and we add common questions to this page over time.

Eight Questions to Answer Before You Order Any Shopify Service

Most questions we receive can be answered faster if you start with these.

The answers in the list below cover how we work. These questions help you decide what you need, which is usually the harder part.

  1. What is the goal? More orders, a faster store, a cleaner look, fewer support questions? One goal points to one kind of service.
  2. Is the store live? A live store calls for safe changes in a copy. A new store calls for a build plan.
  3. What exactly is wrong, or missing? A specific problem usually maps to a small task.
  4. What do you already have? Logo, photos, copy and product data change the scope.
  5. Which devices matter most? Most Shopify traffic is on phones, so say if yours is different.
  6. When do you need it? A date such as a sale or launch changes the delivery speed you choose.
  7. Who approves the work? One approver keeps revision rounds short.
  8. What is your budget range? It helps us point you to the right package or a quote.

If you can answer these in a few sentences, you are ready to use a service calculator or send a quote request.

Terms explained

Words You Will See Across Our Pages

A short guide to the terms used in the answers.

  • Scope: the written list of what a job includes and what it does not.
  • Package: one of the three levels of a service, usually Basic, Standard and Plus in style.
  • Safe copy: a duplicate of your theme in which we work, so your live store is not touched until you approve.
  • Collaborator access: a limited Shopify account you create for us from your admin, which you can remove at any time.
  • Revision round: one batch of feedback from your approver. Each package includes two.
  • Handover: the written notes and recorded walkthrough you receive at the end.
  • Fix window: a thirty-day period after delivery included in some Plus packages, stated on the service page.
  • Quote: a written scope and one fixed price for work that is not in the catalogue.

The glossary page explains more Shopify terms, and the guides cover themes, plans, migration and cost in depth.

Choose the setup of your own option or request a quote. We reply with a scope and one fixed price.

Ordering: Do you work on platforms other than Shopify?

No. Shopify is the only platform we work on.

Ordering: Do you serve clients in every country?

Yes. We work with clients worldwide, in English, and all prices are in US dollars.

Yes. Each package has a fixed price for a stated scope.

Pricing: Why are prices different between services?

Services differ in scope. Each has three packages, required questions and optional extras that change the total.

Orders above $2,500 begin with a 50% deposit. The balance is invoiced separately.

Pricing: Do prices include app fees?

No. Apps have their own plans, shown before you pay.

Pricing: Are taxes included?

Taxes, if any, are calculated at checkout.

Process: How does a job run?

You order, approve access, confirm the scope, we build in a safe copy, test, you review and we hand over.

Process: What is a safe copy?

A duplicate of your theme in which changes are built and tested before they go live.

Process: Will my store stop selling while you work?

No. The live store keeps selling while work happens in the copy.

Process: How long does a job take?

Each service shows its own delivery range. Sooner and fastest options are priced in the calculator.

Process: Can I speed it up?

Yes. Choose the sooner or fastest option in the calculator.

Access: Do you need my password?

No. A collaborator request is enough and you can remove access at any time.

Access: What do you need to start?

Collaborator approval, a completed brief, files that belong to you and one approver.

Access: Who owns the work?

You do. Your store, domain, theme license and the files made for you stay yours.

Access: Is my information safe?

We ask for the least access that does the job. See the data security and privacy pages for how information is handled.

Scope: What is included in a fixed price?

The work on the service page, testing on devices, two revision rounds and a written handover.

Scope: What is not included?

Work outside the written scope, changes to Shopify's hosted checkout and third-party app fees.

Scope: How many revisions do I get?

Two revision rounds in every package.

Scope: Do you promise sales or rankings?

No. We build, fix and set up. We make no sales, traffic or ranking promises.

Scope: Can you edit the checkout page?

Shopify controls the hosted checkout, so we cannot edit it on most plans. We work on the cart and the steps around it.

Scope: Can you fix problems on a store you did not build?

Yes. Fix and small task services work on any Shopify store.

After launch: What do I receive at the end?

The finished work, written notes and a recorded walkthrough.

After launch: Is there a fix window?

Some Plus packages include thirty days. The package states where it applies.

After launch: Do you offer ongoing care?

Yes. Maintenance and growth services cover ongoing support, each with its own price.

After launch: What if something breaks later?

Order a fix service. Bug fix and repair services have fixed prices and faster options.

After launch: Can I change developers later?

Yes. The written notes are made so another developer can pick up the work.

After launch: How do I ask for more changes?

Choose a small task or request a quote.

General: How long have you worked on Shopify?

Since 2015, and more than 450 stores have been designed and launched.

Who owns my store after the work is done?

You do. Your store, domain and accounts stay in your name, and we work only as a collaborator that you can remove at any time.

What do I get at the end of a job?

The finished work published on your store, written notes on what changed and where, a recorded walkthrough and any files made for you.

Can I ask for changes after approving the work?

Changes inside the scope belong in your two revision rounds. Changes after approval or outside the scope are quoted as small tasks with a fixed price.

Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes. Maintenance services and the support after launch page describe ongoing help.

What if something breaks on my live store?

See the emergency Shopify support page for how urgent problems are handled, and contact us with your store address and a screenshot.

Can I use your calculators without ordering?

Yes. Using a calculator to see a price creates no obligation. You order only when you check out.

Do you sell templates or themes?

We work on your Shopify store and theme. Third-party themes are licensed by their authors and we tell you about any license before adding one.

Can I see examples of your work?

See the portfolio, case studies and store examples pages for how we describe work, and the client reviews page for verified feedback.

Do you help with Shopify Plus?

Yes. The Shopify Plus services page describes what we can do for stores on that plan.

Can I send you my brief in my own words?

Yes. A short description of your goal and examples you like is enough to start. We turn it into a written scope.
