Shopify Sellix Integration, Mapped Field by Field and Tested on Real Orders

A Shopify Sellix integration has no native connector in our research. Pabbly creates a Shopify customer when Sellix receives feedback, Pipedream combines Sellix triggers such as cancelled orders and new customers with the Admin API using a Bearer key, and n8n calls the API through an HTTP node. One reseller says Sellix was down in 2024, unverified. We confirm, build, test and hand over, from $390.

  • Sellix status and API access confirmed
  • Feedback and customers mapped to Shopify
  • Cancellations handled

Our track record

Launched 450+ Shopify Stores Since 2015. Now We Connect Them to the Tools You Run.

A store is as useful as the systems around it. Our integration work comes out of years spent within Shopify, so we can tell what a clean order looks like before it reaches Sellix.

Who this is for

Six Situations Where Shopify Sellix Integration Pays Off

Sellers of digital goods on Sellix who also use Shopify want customers and orders kept in step. These are the cases we build for.

You are a good fit if
  • Your orders come through Shopify
  • Sellix is, or will be, in your toolset
  • You would rather pay once than by the hour
  • You can review a test run with us
  • Sellers of digital goods

    Sellix handles delivery.

  • Teams adding customers

    Feedback can create a customer.

  • Teams on cancellations

A cancelled order is a trigger.

  • Teams using the API

    A Bearer key authenticates.

  • Teams on Pabbly

    A Shopify V2 connector exists.

  • Teams checking status

One source says Sellix was down.

Problems solved

Shopify Sellix Integration: Six Faults We Fix First

Digital-sales links fail on status and matching. These are the six faults we fix.

The problem

Platform status unknown

The outcome

Builds rest on a dead API. We confirm it first.

The problem

Customer duplicated

The outcome

History splits. We match on email.

The problem

Orders processed twice

The outcome

Delivery repeats. We key on order ID.

The problem

API key exposed

The outcome

Access leaks. We store it safely.

The problem

Fields unmapped

The outcome

Records land blank. We map each.

The problem

No handover

The outcome

Setup is unwritten, so the next change starts from guesswork. We write down the triggers, fields and tests.

What we connect and check

What Happens When an order is paid: The Sellix Flow

Think of the build as a short chain: event, check, write, log. Each link is tested on its own and again as a whole, with real orders, before we ask you to approve anything.

How We Build Your Sellix Integration, Step by Step

Six stages, in order. Nothing touches live data until you have seen it work on a copy, and your calculator choices decide how long each stage takes.

  1. 1

    Brief and scope

We start with questions: what you sell, how Sellix fits your day and which events matter. Reading through your orders and payments shows where the flow begins and what it must never touch.

  2. 2

    Access and connection

You grant limited access to Shopify and Sellix through an API key with restricted permissions. Before building, we read live data to prove both connections.

  3. 3

    Map and rule

We map charge id, order number, fee and currency, then agree which side wins each conflict and what blanks should do, in writing.

  4. 4

    Build in a copy

A copy comes first: test data only, a visible plan and, where helpful, a recorded run.

  5. 5

    Test on real cases

The tests cover a paid order, a partial refund and a payment in another currency, along with refunds and edits, and we check each result against Shopify.

  6. 6

    Go live and hand over

When you say go, the flow goes live. We watch the first runs and leave you notes, a diagram and a recorded walkthrough.

How We Protect Your Orders and Customer Data

Integrations move customer data between systems, so mistakes are costly. These practices come with every package and explain why a fixed fee can still be a careful one.

Plain scope, two revision rounds

You see the price before paying. Changes within scope go through two structured rounds, so a tweak never becomes an hourly invoice.

Counts compared, not assumed

Every load ends with a count against the source, which catches gaps and doubles quickly.

Narrow access, in your name

Access is as narrow as possible, granted through an API key with restricted permissions, and every account remains yours.

Failures raise a flag

When a run fails, a named person is told which order and why. Silence is never taken as success.

Nothing sent without approval

Anything that emails, texts or posts to a customer is reviewed with you before it is switched on.

A written definition of done

Done means the flow copes with a paid order, a partial refund and a payment in another currency, and the results are written in the log.

One flow live between Shopify and Sellix: match the charge to the Shopify order, mapped and tested.

  • Sellix linked with an API key with restricted permissions
  • One trigger built: when an order is paid
  • Mapping for charge id, order number and fee
  • Every write protected from duplicates
  • Proven on a paid order and a partial refund
  • Test log and recorded handover

Three flows running: Sellix will match the charge to the Shopify order; mirror the refund against the original charge; and reconcile the payout with the orders it covers, plus filters, retries and alerts.

  • Everything in Single Workflow
  • Events handled: an order is paid; a refund is issued; a payout lands
  • Mapping extended to currency and custom fields
  • Filtering on tags, countries and totals
  • Automatic retries with failure alerts
  • Test on a paid order, a partial refund and a payment in another currency

Two-way sync with history loaded, a fortnight of monitoring and a runbook your team can follow.

  • Everything in Core Workflows
  • Two-way updates with per-field winners
  • One-off history load of past payments
  • Fourteen days of monitoring after launch
  • Access and roles review
  • Runbook with the rules and the fixes

If your Sellix setup uses custom code, a private API, an on-premise system or more than one store, send a short brief and we will quote it as a fixed-price project.

What is your monthly order volume?Required

Volume decides how much load planning the build needs.

In which direction should the data travel?Required

Fields that both systems change need a written winner.

What is already stored in Sellix?Required

Existing data is matched to Shopify ids up front.

How soon do you need it live?Required

Standard follows the schedule your other choices set. Pay to move up the queue and go live sooner.

Optional extrasOptional

Each one begins switched off. Turn on what you need, watch the total, switch it back off.

Why Store Design Expert

What You Get From Us That a Template Does Not

You are paying for judgement and for a result you can inspect, not for hours.

Notes a colleague can follow

Handover notes record the data paths and the choices behind each setting, ready for whoever works on it next.

We live inside Shopify

We work with Shopify orders, refunds, edits and metafields daily. That depth is separate from knowing Sellix's interface.

A direct line to the builder

Ask the person who built it. Questions about triggers or fields get a direct reply.

A price you can plan around

Every package and option shows its price and extra days in the calculator. Any Sellix plan fees are billed to you by Sellix, so check its current pricing page.

Tested on your real cases

Your real scenarios are the test plan: a paid order, a partial refund and a payment in another currency.

Experience since 2015

Over 450 Shopify stores since 2015 mean we have seen most of the odd cases that break integrations.

What we need to get started

What to Prepare Before We Start Your Sellix Integration

Three things get the work moving: safe access, a few answers and a decision-maker. Here is the detail.

Approve a collaborator request

Already trading? Share the store address and accept our collaborator request. You remain the owner, we see only what the role allows, and you can remove us whenever you like.

Starting from nothing? We build first

Without a store, we build one in a Partner account with Sellix connected, then transfer it to you. You pick a plan once everything works.

Or share a staff login

If it is simpler, a staff login will do. We prefer the collaborator route because it is revocable in one click and no password changes hands.

Your Sellix access

You can create the account and invite us, or we can create it with your email. In both cases you hold the owner role, and we connect using an API key with restricted permissions.

Sample records

Two or three representative records from each side are enough. They show us the true shape of your data.

A decision-maker

We need one person to approve the plan and the test, plus a rule for what wins when Sellix and Shopify clash.

Your Shopify owner password and card details never reach us. Changes are made in a copy, and we note every setting we touch.
