Shopify + Nuclia, set up for you

Shopify Nuclia Integration, Built, Tested and Handed Over

A Shopify Nuclia integration gives your store AI search and answers from your own content: products, policies, FAQs and blog posts. We found no native connector; Nuclia, now Progress Agentic RAG, connects through SDKs, and n8n can link the two. The widget is a nuclia-search-bar component. For private data we add a security proxy. We build and test, from $390.

  • Products, policies and posts ingested into a Knowledge Box
  • Search widget placed in the theme
  • Proxy for permissioned or private data
  • Test log and a recorded handover

Our track record

Over 450 Stores Built Since 2015. Here Is What That Means for Your Nuclia Link.

Years inside hundreds of Shopify stores pays off in small decisions: what to key each record to, when to retry, which field wins a conflict. Those decisions make a chatbot or messaging-automation tool integration quiet and reliable.

Who this is for

Who Hires Us for Shopify Nuclia Integration

RAG search is only trusted when answers cite the right source. These are the cases we build for.

You are a good fit if
  • Your orders come through Shopify
  • Nuclia is, or will be, in your toolset
  • You would rather pay once than by the hour
  • You can review a test run with us
  • Stores with large catalogues

Semantic search finds products beyond keywords.

  • Stores with long policies

Answers cite shipping and return pages.

  • Developers

SDKs hook Nuclia to your data sources.

  • Theme owners

A nuclia-search-bar component takes the Knowledge Box ID and zone.

  • Stores with private data

A proxy between the widget and NucliaDB handles permissions.

  • Teams expecting a connector

We found no native Shopify link and the product was renamed.

How We Build Your Nuclia Integration, Step by Step

A fixed order of work keeps the project predictable. You know what happens next at every point.

  1. 1

    Brief and scope

First we find out what you sell, how your team uses Nuclia and which events count. A quick look at your orders and conversations tells us where to begin and what to avoid.

  2. 2

    Access and connection

You grant limited access to Shopify and Nuclia through an access token from the bot platform. Before building, we read live data to prove both connections.

  3. 3

    Map and rule

Contact id, order number, cart link and consent are matched across both tools, and we record who wins each conflict and how blanks are treated.

  4. 4

    Build in a copy

Nothing is built on live records. The flow runs on test data first, and you see the plan, plus a recording if useful.

  5. 5

    Test on real cases

The tests cover a policy question, a new guide and a changed product page, along with refunds and edits, and we check each result against Shopify.

  6. 6

    Go live and hand over

After your approval we turn the flow on, follow the first live runs, then hand over notes, a diagram and a short recorded tour.

How We Protect Your Orders and Customer Data

Integrations move customer data between systems, so mistakes are costly. These practices come with every package and explain why a fixed fee can still be a careful one.

Build in a copy, never live

We never build on live data: the flow is tested on test records and your real orders and conversations wait for your approval.

A written definition of done

We call it complete when a policy question, a new guide and a changed product page work as agreed and the log proves it.

Nothing sent without approval

Anything that emails, texts or posts to a customer is reviewed with you before it is switched on.

Narrow access, in your name

We request only the permissions the flow needs, via an access token from the bot platform, and you own every account.

Counts compared, not assumed

After any load we compare counts with the source, so missing or doubled records are caught early.

Plain scope, two revision rounds

You see the price before paying. Changes within scope go through two structured rounds, so a tweak never becomes an hourly invoice.

Choose your packageRequired

Nuclia connected and one flow built: answer from the indexed content, with fields mapped and the result tested.

  • Nuclia linked with an access token from the bot platform
  • Trigger for the event: a customer asks a question
  • Contact id, order number and cart link matched across both tools
  • Retries can never create a second record
  • Checks on a policy question and a new guide
  • A log of the tests and a short recorded tour

Nuclia will answer from the indexed content, index the new document and update the search index, with filters, retries and a failure alert.

  • Everything in Single Workflow
  • Three triggers: a customer asks a question; a document is added; a product page changes
  • Consent and custom fields added to the map
  • Rules by tag, country and order value
  • Retries and failure alerts
  • Tested with a policy question, a new guide and a changed product page

The full build: two-way sync, history, monitoring for two weeks and a runbook.

  • Everything in Core Workflows
  • Both-way sync with a winner for each field
  • A one-off catch-up of earlier conversations
  • A fortnight of run checks after launch
  • Access and roles review
  • Runbook with the rules and the fixes

Projects beyond these packages, such as custom objects, heavy history loads, multi-store designs or a custom API build, are scoped and quoted at a fixed price after a short call.

Volume decides how much load planning the build needs.

How should data flow between Shopify and Nuclia?Required

Both directions need agreed winners for every field.

Why Store Design Expert

Why Hire Us to Connect Nuclia and Shopify

You are paying for judgement and for a result you can inspect, not for hours.

Experience since 2015

We have launched more than 450 Shopify stores since 2015 and met most of the quirks that trip up integrations.

Safety designed in

Every build includes retries, alerts, unique keys and narrow access; none are paid extras.

4.9+ from verified clients

Every review on this page is from a verified Store Design Expert client, which lets you see how projects went first.

Tested on your real cases

We test the cases your store actually has, such as a policy question, a new guide and a changed product page.

A price you can plan around

You see the cost and extra days for each choice in the calculator. Any Nuclia subscription is billed by Nuclia, so check what it charges today.

A direct line to the builder

You message the person who has your flow open. Questions about a trigger or a field get a straight answer.

What we need to get started

What We Need From You to Begin

We need a way into your store, a Nuclia account and a short brief. Pick the access route that suits you.

Approve a collaborator request

Already trading? Share the store address and accept our collaborator request. You remain the owner, we see only what the role allows, and you can remove us whenever you like.

Starting from nothing? We build first

We can assemble the store in our own Shopify Partner account, connect Nuclia there, then hand the whole store over by ownership transfer. You pick a Shopify plan only at the end.

Or share a staff login

Sharing a staff login is possible. The collaborator route is safer, though: one click removes it and no password is passed around.

Your Nuclia access

Set up the account and invite us, or have us create it under your email. You stay the owner either way, and access runs through an access token from the bot platform.

Sample records

Two or three representative records from each side are enough. They show us the true shape of your data.

A decision-maker

Name the person who approves the plan and the test, and tell us which system should win when Nuclia and Shopify disagree.

Your Shopify owner password and card details never reach us. Changes are made in a copy, and we note every setting we touch.

FAQ

Nuclia Integration FAQs

Everything owners ask us before booking.

How much does Shopify Nuclia integration cost?

Single Workflow costs $390, Core Workflows $790 and Full Integration $1490. Order volume, data direction, existing Nuclia data and add-ons change the total, and the calculator shows it before you pay. Most projects land between about $390 and $2090, with delivery from 3 to 14 working days.

How long does the Nuclia integration take?

Single Workflow takes 3 to 5 working days, Core Workflows 5 to 9 and Full Integration 8 to 14. The usual variables are how much history you want loaded and how quickly you approve the test results. The Sooner and Fastest options shorten the schedule when a launch date is fixed.

Does Nuclia have a Shopify connector?

We found none.

Is Nuclia still called Nuclia?

It is now Progress Agentic RAG. Searches like "nuclia knowledge box rag shopify" point to this service.

How do I add search to the theme?

With a nuclia-search-bar component. Another way to phrase it: "shopify to nuclia sync"; this page covers that too.

What about private data?

A security proxy is needed. This also answers "nuclia shopify zapier".

Can n8n connect them?

It says so; node lists are unconfirmed. Another way to phrase it: "nuclia shopify make.com"; the work is the same.

Do answers cite sources?

We configure that. This also answers "nuclia shopify n8n".

Can you build it?

Yes.
