Hexometer integration for Shopify

Shopify Hexometer Integration, That Survives Real Orders

A Shopify Hexometer integration has no native connector in our research. Integrately lists a Shopify link without detail, and Hexometer's webhook sends a JSON payload to your endpoint whenever a task or issue is created on a monitored property, which needs middleware or Zapier to reach Shopify. Hextom is a different company. We build, test and hand over, from $390.

  • Site issues turned into tasks for the right owner
  • Uptime and speed alerts routed
  • Store pages monitored for broken checkout
  • Test log and a recorded handover

Who this is for

Who Needs a Careful Shopify Hexometer integration Build

Stores losing sales to downtime or slow pages want issues reported to the people who can fix them. These are the cases we build for.

You are a good fit if
  • Your orders come through Shopify
  • Hexometer is, or will be, in your toolset
  • You would rather pay once than by the hour
  • You can review a test run with us
  • Stores watching uptime

Problems solved

Shopify Hexometer Integration: Six Faults We Fix First

Monitoring links fail on noise and routing. These are the six faults we fix.

The problem

Alert noise

The outcome

Teams ignore real issues. We tune thresholds.

The problem

No owner

The outcome

Issues sit. We assign by area.

The problem

Webhook endpoint unsecured

The outcome

Fake issues get in. We verify requests.

The problem

Checkout not monitored

The outcome

Revenue bugs slip through. We add key journeys.

The problem

Hextom confused

The outcome

Nothing fits. We confirm Hexometer.

The problem

No handover

The outcome

Setup is unwritten, so the next change starts from guesswork. We write down the triggers, fields and tests.

What Happens When an order is paid: The Hexometer Flow

An integration is best judged when you can see it. The picture shows the pieces we build for Hexometer: the records on each side, the status of every link and the log a person can read.

Process and timeline

How We Build Your Hexometer Integration, Step by Step

We follow the same six steps on every build, which is why the price can be fixed.

  1. 1

    Brief and scope

The brief covers what you sell, how Hexometer is used and which events should trigger work. We review some orders and events to decide the starting point and the limits.

  2. 2

    Access and connection

You grant limited access to Shopify and Hexometer through a property or project key. Before building, we read live data to prove both connections.

  3. 3

    Map and rule

We map event name, value, client id and currency, then agree which side wins each conflict and what blanks should do, in writing.

  4. 4

    Build in a copy

A copy comes first: test data only, a visible plan and, where helpful, a recorded run.

  5. 5

    Test on real cases

The tests cover a paid order, a refund and a visitor who declines cookies, along with refunds and edits, and we check each result against Shopify.

  6. 6

    Go live and hand over

On your approval the flow is switched on and monitored through its first runs, and you receive notes, a diagram and a quick video tour.

Six Safeguards Built Into Every Hexometer Integration

Integrations move customer data between systems, so mistakes are costly. These practices come with every package and explain why a fixed fee can still be a careful one.

Build in a copy, never live

We never build on live data: the flow is tested on test records and your real orders and events wait for your approval.

A written definition of done

A flow is finished when it handles a paid order, a refund and a visitor who declines cookies correctly and the results are logged.

Plain scope, two revision rounds

You see the price before paying. Changes within scope go through two structured rounds, so a tweak never becomes an hourly invoice.

Nothing sent without approval

Every customer-facing message is reviewed with you first, then switched on.

Counts compared, not assumed

Every load ends with a count against the source, which catches gaps and doubles quickly.

Narrow access, in your name

We request only the permissions the flow needs, via a property or project key, and you own every account.

  • First trigger built: an order is paid
  • Mapping for event name, value and client id
  • A unique key on every write
  • Proven on a paid order and a refund

Three flows running: Hexometer will record the purchase with its value; link the sign-up to the visitor; and reverse the revenue, plus filters, retries and alerts.

  • Events handled: an order is paid; a customer signs up; an order is refunded
  • Currency and custom fields mapped
  • Filters by tag, country and value
  • Retries and failure alerts
  • Test on a paid order, a refund and a visitor who declines cookies

Two-way sync, history load and a fortnight of monitoring, with a written runbook for your team.

  • Everything in Core Workflows
  • Two-way sync, each field with its own rule
  • A one-off catch-up of earlier events
  • A fortnight of run checks after launch
  • Access and roles review
  • Team runbook in plain English

If your Hexometer setup relies on custom code, a private API, an on-premise system or more than one store, send a short brief and we will quote it as a fixed-price project.

How many orders does the store process a month?Required

High volume calls for batching and a peak-day plan.

One-way or two-way sync?Required

Fields that both systems change need a written winner.

Are there existing records in Hexometer to deal with?Required

We match what exists before anything new is written.

How soon do you need it live?Required

Standard follows the schedule your other choices set. Pay to move up the queue and go live sooner.

Optional extrasOptional

Each one begins switched off. Turn on what you need, watch the total, switch it back off.

Handover notes record the data paths and the choices behind each setting, ready for whoever works on it next.

What we need to get started

Getting Started: What We Ask For

Three things get the work moving: safe access, a few answers and a decision-maker. Here is the detail.

Approve a collaborator request

If the store is live, send us its address and approve our request. Ownership stays with you, our role is limited, and removal takes one click.

Starting from nothing? We build first

We can start in our own Partner account, set up the store and the Hexometer link, then transfer ownership to you. A Shopify plan is chosen at the end.

Or share a staff login

A staff account is an option. The collaborator route is still better, as it can be cancelled instantly and involves no shared password.

Your Hexometer access

Create the account yourself and invite us, or ask us to create it with your email. Either way you hold the owner role, and we use a property or project key.

Sample records

Send two or three typical records from each side, or tell us where to find them. Real examples show us how your data is actually shaped.

A decision-maker

Who signs off the plan and the test? And when Hexometer and Shopify disagree, which one is right? Those two answers are all we need.

Your Shopify owner password and card details never reach us. Changes are made in a copy, and we note every setting we touch.

Answers on cost, timing, access, data and what to do when the connection misbehaves.

How much does Shopify Hexometer integration cost?

Single Workflow costs $390, Core Workflows $790 and Full Integration $1490. Order volume, data direction, existing Hexometer data and add-ons change the total, and the calculator shows it before you pay. Most projects land between about $390 and $2090, with delivery from 3 to 14 working days.
