Done-for-you FareHarbor and Shopify connection

FareHarbor Shopify Integration, Wired the Way Your Team Works

A FareHarbor Shopify integration is for tour and activity operators who also sell merchandise or gift cards online. We found no direct integration. FareHarbor's Zapier app has only three triggers, new, cancelled and updated bookings, with no actions, so data flows out of FareHarbor but Zapier cannot create bookings in it. We build booking-to-Shopify flows and test, from $390.

  • New and cancelled bookings create or update Shopify records
  • Booking buyers added as Shopify customers
  • Past bookings imported separately
  • Test log and a recorded handover

Our track record

Over 450 Stores Built Since 2015. Here Is What That Means for Your FareHarbor Link.

A decade spent in hundreds of Shopify stores pays off in small decisions: what to key each record to, when to retry, who wins a conflict. Those decisions make a booking or events platform integration quiet and reliable.

Who this is for

FareHarbor Shopify Integration: Who It Helps Most

FareHarbor only sends data outward, so design around that. These are the cases we build for.

You are a good fit if
  • Your orders come through Shopify
  • FareHarbor is, or will be, in your toolset
  • You would rather pay once than by the hour
  • You can review a test run with us
  • Operators selling tours and merchandise

Each booking creates a Shopify customer for later offers.

  • Owners expecting two-way sync

Zapier has no FareHarbor actions, so Shopify cannot create or edit bookings there.

  • Owners with live bookings

New, cancelled and updated booking triggers cover the lifecycle.

  • Owners with past bookings

Bookings made before the Zap goes live are not replayed, so we import them.

  • Owners recording revenue

A Square example creates orders from bookings; we build the Shopify equivalent.

  • Teams comparing tools

Make has a comparable FareHarbor connector.

Problems solved

FareHarbor Shopify Integration: Six Faults We Fix First

Booking syncs fail on direction and history. These are the six faults we fix.

The problem

Expecting write access

The outcome

Shopify actions cannot book. We design one-way flows.

The problem

Missing history

The outcome

Past bookings are absent. We backfill.

The problem

Duplicate customers

The outcome

Repeat guests duplicate. We match.

The problem

Cancellations ignored

The outcome

Records stay active. We handle them.

The problem

Revenue double-counted

The outcome

Booking and order both count. We tag.

The problem

No handover

The outcome

Rules are unwritten. We document them.

FareHarbor and Shopify: How the Connection Is Wired

Each connection follows the same path. The store sends an event, we check it against what FareHarbor already holds, the right record is written and the change is logged where your bookings team can see it. This map shows the pieces we connect and test before handover.

Six Stages From Brief to Live FareHarbor Sync

A fixed order of work keeps the project predictable. You know what happens next at every point.

  1. 1

    Brief and scope

We ask what you sell, how FareHarbor is used and which events matter. A short review of your orders and bookings shows where the flow should start and what it must never do.

  2. 2

    Access and connection

You grant limited access to Shopify and FareHarbor through an API key or an OAuth sign-in. Before building, we read live data to prove both connections.

  3. 3

    Map and rule

Activity, start time, guest email and capacity are matched across both tools, and we record who wins each conflict and how blanks are treated.

  4. 4

    Build in a copy

Nothing is built on live records. The flow runs on test data first, and you see the plan, plus a recording if useful.

  5. 5

    Test on real cases

We test a single booking, a group booking and a full trip, plus refunds and edits, then compare the results with what Shopify shows.

  6. 6

    Go live and hand over

On your approval the flow is switched on and monitored through its first runs, and you receive notes, a diagram and a quick video tour.

Inside every project

Six Safeguards Built Into Every FareHarbor Integration

Careful beats fast when personal data is involved. These are the habits behind every build.

Build in a copy, never live

The flow is built and tested against test data. Your live orders and bookings are untouched until you approve.

Counts compared, not assumed

Every load ends with a count against the source, which catches gaps and doubles quickly.

Plain scope, two revision rounds

You know the cost up front. Two revision rounds cover changes within scope, which keeps tweaks from becoming extra invoices.

Failures raise a flag

When a run fails, a named person is told which order and why. Silence is never taken as success.

Secrets kept in a vault

A secure vault holds every key and token; none appear in notes or chat.

Narrow access, in your name

We request only the permissions the flow needs, via an API key or an OAuth sign-in, and you own every account.

If your FareHarbor setup relies on custom code, a private API, an on-premise system or more than one store, send us a short brief and we will quote it as a fixed-price project.

Roughly how many orders do you take each month?Required

More orders means more queuing, throttling and testing.

Should data move one way or both ways?Required

Both directions need agreed winners for every field.

Does FareHarbor already hold records we must match?Required

Existing data is matched to Shopify ids up front.

How soon do you need it live?Required

Standard follows the schedule your other choices set. Pay to move up the queue and go live sooner.

Why Store Design Expert

Why Owners Choose Our FareHarbor Shopify Integration Over Doing It Alone

Templates cover the happy path. We cover the rest, and we put the result in writing.

We live inside Shopify

Orders, refunds, edits and metafields are what we handle every day, which is a different skill from knowing FareHarbor's menus.

Notes a colleague can follow

The handover notes say what moves where and why each setting was chosen, so nobody has to guess later.

Safety designed in

Every build includes retries, alerts, unique keys and narrow access; none are paid extras.

A price you can plan around

Prices and extra days are visible for each package and option. Plan fees for FareHarbor come from FareHarbor directly; its pricing page has the latest.

A direct line to the builder

You message the person who has your flow open. Questions about a trigger or a field get a straight answer.

Experience since 2015

More than 450 Shopify stores have passed through our hands, so we have met most of the quirks that interfere with integrations.

What we need to get started

Getting Started: What We Ask For

Three things get the work moving: safe access, a few answers and a decision-maker. Here is the detail.

Approve a collaborator request

Selling already? Send the address and accept a collaborator request. You keep ownership, we get a limited role, and you can revoke it at any moment.

Starting from nothing? We build first

We can assemble the store in our own Shopify Partner account, connect FareHarbor there, then hand the whole store over by ownership transfer. You pick a Shopify plan only at the end.

Or share a staff login

A staff login works if that is easier. We still recommend the collaborator route, since it can be revoked in one click and leaves no password in circulation.

Your FareHarbor access

You can create the account and invite us, or we can create it with your email. In both cases you hold the owner role, and we connect using an API key or an OAuth sign-in.

Sample records

Two or three representative records from each side are enough. They show us the true shape of your data.

A decision-maker

Name the person who approves the plan and the test, and tell us which system should win when FareHarbor and Shopify disagree.

Your Shopify owner password and card details never reach us. Changes are made in a copy, and we note every setting we touch.

FAQ

FareHarbor Integration FAQs

Everything owners ask us before booking.

How much does FareHarbor Shopify integration cost?

Single Workflow costs $390, Core Workflows $790 and Full Integration $1490. Order volume, data direction, existing FareHarbor data and add-ons change the total, and the calculator shows it before you pay. Most projects land between about $390 and $2090, with delivery from 3 to 14 working days.

How long does the FareHarbor integration take?

Single Workflow takes 3 to 5 working days, Core Workflows 5 to 9 and Full Integration 8 to 14. The usual variables are how much history you want loaded and how quickly you approve the test results. The Sooner and Fastest options shorten the schedule when a launch date is fixed.

Does FareHarbor integrate with Shopify?

We found no direct integration.

What triggers exist?

New booking, cancelled booking and updated booking. People also search for "fareharbor booking triggers shopify"; the same build answers that too.

Can Shopify create FareHarbor bookings?

No, Zapier has no FareHarbor actions. If you typed "shopify to fareharbor sync", this is the page for it.

Are past bookings included?

No, they are not replayed. You may also see it searched as "connect shopify and fareharbor"; the work is the same.

Can I use Make?

Make has a comparable connector. You may also see it searched as "fareharbor shopify zapier"; this page covers that too.

Can bookings create Shopify customers?

Yes, with a built flow. You may also see it searched as "fareharbor shopify make.com"; the same build answers that too.
