Shopify awork Integration, Wired the Way Your Team Works

A Shopify awork integration has no native connector in our research. Pipedream creates an awork client from an abandoned cart or a Shopify product variant from an updated time entry, and Zoho Flow creates an awork task for each new order. Agencies use it to bill tracked time through Shopify. We build, test and hand over, from $390.

  • Order or cart to client and task flow
  • Time entries to billable products or draft orders
  • Project mapping
  • Test log and a recorded handover

Our track record

Over 450 Stores Built Since 2015. Here Is What That Means for Your awork Link.

Long experience with hundreds of Shopify stores shows up in small decisions: what to key each record to, when to retry, which side wins a conflict. Those decisions keep a project or task manager integration steady and dependable.

Who this is for

Is Our Shopify awork Integration Right for You? Six Typical Cases

Agencies selling packages and tracking time want both in one flow. These are the cases we build for.

You are a good fit if
  • Shopify is your store platform
  • You can give us limited access to awork
  • You want a clear scope and price
  • Someone can confirm the test results
  • Agencies selling packages

A new order creates an awork task in a project.

  • Teams winning leads

An abandoned cart can create an awork client.

  • Teams billing time

An updated time entry can create a Shopify variant.

  • Teams on Zoho Flow

    A new-order task template exists.

  • Teams with many projects

Orders map to the right project.

  • Teams on old listings

Zapier's listing is about 1,900 days old.

Problems solved

Shopify awork Integration: Six Faults We Fix First

Time and order links fail on mapping and duplicates. These are the six faults we fix.

The problem

Wrong project

The outcome

Tasks land in the wrong place. We map products to projects.

The problem

Duplicate clients

The outcome

Leads repeat. We find before creating.

The problem

Time not billed

The outcome

Hours stay unbilled. We map entries to variants.

The problem

Retries repeat

The outcome

Tasks duplicate. We check first.

The problem

Unrelated page followed

The outcome

The When I Work page is another product. We confirm.

The problem

No handover

The outcome

Setup is unwritten, so the next change starts from guesswork. We write down the triggers, fields and tests.

What Happens When an order needs custom work: The awork Flow

How We Build Your awork Integration, Step by Step

Six stages, in order. Nothing touches live data until you have seen it work on a copy, and your calculator choices decide how long each stage takes.

  1. 1

    Brief and scope

We start with questions: what you sell, how awork fits your day and which events matter. Reading through your orders and tasks shows where the flow begins and what it must never touch.

  2. 2

    Access and connection

You grant limited access to Shopify and awork through an OAuth sign-in with access to one workspace. Before building, we read live data to prove both connections.

  3. 3

    Map and rule

The map covers order number, due date, assignee and notes; we put the conflict winners and blank rules in writing.

  4. 4

    Build in a copy

We build against test data, not your live records, and show you the plan and a recorded run where it helps.

  5. 5

    Test on real cases

We run a custom order, a refund request and a rush shipment, then refunds and edits, and verify each outcome against what the store shows.

  6. 6

    Go live and hand over

Once you approve, we switch the flow on, watch the first runs and hand over notes, a diagram and a short recorded tour.

Six Safeguards Built Into Every awork Integration

Careful beats fast when personal data is involved. These are the habits behind every build.

Counts compared, not assumed

We check totals against the source after each load, so mismatches surface straight away.

Failures raise a flag

A failed run alerts a named person with the order and the reason. Silence never means success.

A written definition of done

Done means the flow copes with a custom order, a refund request and a rush shipment, and the results are written in the log.

Build in a copy, never live

The flow is built and tested against test data. Your live orders and tasks are untouched until you approve.

Plain scope, two revision rounds

You see the price before paying. Changes within scope go through two structured rounds, so a tweak never becomes an hourly invoice.

Nothing sent without approval

Every customer-facing message is reviewed with you first, then switched on.

The essentials: awork connected, one flow built to create a task with the order details, tested end to end.

  • awork connected using an OAuth sign-in with access to one workspace
  • One trigger built: when an order needs custom work
  • Order number, due date and assignee mapped
  • Retries can never create a second record
  • Proven on a custom order and a refund request
  • A log of the tests and a short recorded tour

Three flows running: awork will create a task with the order details; move the card to the next column; and open a review task for the right person, plus filters, retries and alerts.

  • Everything in Single Workflow
  • Triggers for when an order needs custom work, when an order is fulfilled and when a refund is requested
  • Notes and custom fields added to the map
  • Filters by tag, country and value
  • Retries and failure alerts
  • Proven on a custom order, a refund request and a rush shipment

The full build: two-way sync, history, monitoring for two weeks and a runbook.

  • Everything in Core Workflows
  • Two-way updates with per-field winners
  • History load of previous tasks
  • A fortnight of run checks after launch
  • Review of access and roles
  • Written runbook for your team

Custom objects, unusual authentication, several Shopify stores feeding one awork account, stores above 10,000 orders a month, and builds that need your own servers are quoted separately at a fixed price.

Roughly how many orders do you take each month?Required

More orders means more queuing, throttling and testing.

In which direction should the data travel?Required

Fields that both systems change need a written winner.

What is already stored in awork?Required

Matching comes first, so nothing is duplicated.

How soon do you need it live?Required

Standard follows the schedule your other choices set. Pay to move up the queue and go live sooner.

Why Store Design Expert

What You Get From Us That a Template Does Not

Most of this job is clicking, and you could do it. People hire us because the unglamorous parts, ids, timing and edge cases, decide whether the connection helps or hurts.

4.9+ from verified clients

You can read verified client reviews on this page before paying, so past results are visible.

A direct line to the builder

You talk to the person working on your flow, and questions about a trigger or field get a plain answer.

Notes a colleague can follow

We document what moves where and which settings we picked, so the next developer starts informed.

We live inside Shopify

Orders, refunds, edits and metafields are daily work for us. That is a different skill from knowing the menus of awork.

Experience since 2015

More than 450 Shopify stores have passed through our hands, so we have met most of the quirks that interfere with integrations.

A price you can plan around

You see the cost and extra days for each choice in the calculator. Any awork subscription is billed by awork, so check what it charges today.

What we need to get started

What to Prepare Before We Start Your awork Integration

The list is short. Most owners have everything ready in a day.

Approve a collaborator request

Selling already? Send the address and accept a collaborator request. You keep ownership, we get a limited role, and you can revoke it at any moment.

Starting from nothing? We build first

We can start in our own Partner account, set up the store and the awork link, then transfer ownership to you. A Shopify plan is chosen at the end.

Or share a staff login

Sharing a staff login is possible. The collaborator route is safer, though: one click removes it and no password is passed around.

Your awork access

Either create the awork account yourself and add us, or we open it with your email. You remain the owner, and we work through an OAuth sign-in with access to one workspace.

Sample records

Share a few typical records from both tools, or point us to them. Real examples reveal how your data is really structured.

A decision-maker

We need one person to approve the plan and the test, plus a rule for what wins when awork and Shopify clash.

Your Shopify owner password and card details never reach us. Changes are made in a copy, and we note every setting we touch.

FAQ

awork Integration FAQs

Answers on cost, timing, access, data and what to do when the connection misbehaves.

How much does Shopify awork integration cost?

Single Workflow costs $390, Core Workflows $790 and Full Integration $1490. Order volume, data direction, existing awork data and add-ons change the total, and the calculator shows it before you pay. Most projects land between about $390 and $2090, with delivery from 3 to 14 working days.

How long does the awork integration take?

Single Workflow takes 3 to 5 working days, Core Workflows 5 to 9 and Full Integration 8 to 14. The usual variables are how much history you want loaded and how quickly you approve the test results. The Sooner and Fastest options shorten the schedule when a launch date is fixed.

Does awork have a Shopify app?

We found none.

Which tools connect them?

Pipedream, Zoho Flow and Latenode. If you typed "awork projects tasks shopify orders pipedream zoho flow time entries", the answer is the same.

What can an order create?

An awork task. Another way to phrase it: "shopify to awork sync"; this page covers that too.

Can time create a variant?

Yes via Pipedream. Queries such as "connect shopify and awork" lead to the same build.

Is Zapier's listing current?

About 1,900 days old. Another way to phrase it: "awork shopify zapier"; this page covers that too.

What does it cost?

Fixed price from $390 plus tool fees. If you came here from "awork shopify make.com", this is the page for it.

Can you build it?

Yes. People also search for "awork shopify n8n"; the same build answers that too.
