Done-for-you Podia and Shopify connection

Podia Shopify Integration, Tested Before You Rely on It

A Podia Shopify integration lets one customer record cover both your digital products and your physical store. We found no native connection. Zapier lists Podia triggers for new sales, membership sign-ups and course completions that can create Shopify orders or update customers, and a new Shopify order can create a Podia record. Trigger lists may be dated, so we verify them live. From $390.

  • Podia sales and sign-ups mirrored to Shopify customers
  • Shopify orders creating Podia records
  • Waitlist-driven stock updates where relevant
  • Test log and a recorded handover

Our track record

Over 450 Stores Built Since 2015. Here Is What That Means for Your Podia Link.

Long experience with hundreds of Shopify stores shows up in small decisions: what to key each record to, when to retry, who wins a conflict. Those decisions keep a course or membership platform integration steady and dependable.

Who this is for

Who Hires Us for Podia Shopify Integration

Podia and Shopify overlap on customers, so matching matters. These are the cases we build for.

You are a good fit if
  • You sell on Shopify today or soon
  • You will own the Podia account
  • You prefer a quote to an hourly meter
  • You can approve a test within a few days
  • Creators selling courses and physical products

Podia buyers appear in Shopify and the reverse.

  • Creators rewarding completion

A Course Completed trigger can issue a Shopify discount.

  • Creators with memberships

A New Membership Signup trigger can create a Shopify customer.

  • Creators with limited stock

A waitlist join can update the Shopify inventory count.

  • Owners using old guides

A 2017 Zapier post lists Podia triggers, which may have changed.

  • Owners with duplicate customers

    We match on email.

How We Wire Podia to Your Store, Step by Step

All connections follow the same path. The store sends an event, we check it against what Podia already holds, the right record is written and the change is logged where your education team can see it. This map shows the pieces we connect and test before handover.

How We Build Your Podia Integration, Step by Step

A fixed order of work keeps the project predictable. You know what happens next at every point.

  1. 1

    Brief and scope

We start with questions: what you sell, how Podia fits your day and which events matter. Reading through your orders and customers shows where the flow begins and what it must never touch.

  2. 2

    Access and connection

You grant limited access to Shopify and Podia through an API key or an OAuth sign-in. Before building, we read live data to prove both connections.

  3. 3

    Map and rule

Together we map customer email, product, enrolment and status, decide which system wins each clash and write down how blanks behave.

  4. 4

    Build in a copy

The flow is built against test data, never your live records. You see the plan and, where useful, a recorded run.

  5. 5

    Test on real cases

We run a course sale, a refund and a membership, then refunds and edits, and verify each outcome against what the store shows.

  6. 6

    Go live and hand over

After your approval we turn the flow on, follow the first live runs, then hand over notes, a diagram and a short recorded tour.

How We Protect Your Orders and Customer Data

Careful beats fast when personal data is involved. These are the habits behind every build.

Nothing sent without approval

Emails, texts and posts that reach customers are approved by you before they are enabled.

Build in a copy, never live

The flow is built and tested against test data. Your live orders and customers are untouched until you approve.

Counts compared, not assumed

After any load we compare counts with the source, so missing or doubled records are caught early.

Failures raise a flag

When a run fails, a named person is told which order and why. Silence is never taken as success.

Plain scope, two revision rounds

You see the price before paying. Changes within scope go through two structured rounds, so a tweak never becomes an hourly invoice.

A written definition of done

A flow is finished when it handles a course sale, a refund and a membership correctly and the results are logged.

Podia connected and one flow built: grant access to the product, with fields mapped and the result tested.

  • Podia authorised through an API key or an OAuth sign-in
  • Trigger for the event: a product is purchased
  • Field map covering customer email, product and enrolment
  • Every write protected from duplicates
  • Checks on a course sale and a refund
  • Written test log and video handover

Podia will grant access to the product, remove access and add the member to the right group, with filters, retries and a failure alert.

  • Everything in Single Workflow
  • A trigger for each: a product is purchased, a purchase is refunded, a member joins
  • Mapping extended to status and custom fields
  • Filters by tag, country and value
  • Automatic retries with failure alerts
  • Proven on a course sale, a refund and a membership

Two-way sync, history load and a fortnight of monitoring, with a written runbook for your team.

  • Everything in Core Workflows
  • Two-way sync, each field with its own rule
  • History load of previous customers
  • Fourteen days of monitoring after launch
  • Review of access and roles
  • Runbook with the rules and the fixes

Custom objects, unusual authentication, several Shopify stores feeding one Podia account, stores above 10,000 orders a month, and builds that need your own servers are quoted separately at a fixed price.

How many orders does the store process a month?Required

Larger volumes need more careful queuing and testing.

Which way should data flow?Required

Fields that both systems change need a written winner.

Does Podia already hold records we must match?Required

Matching comes first, so nothing is duplicated.

How soon do you need it live?Required

Standard follows the schedule your other choices set. Pay to move up the queue and go live sooner.

Optional extrasOptional

Each one begins switched off. Turn on what you need, watch the total, switch it back off.

Why Store Design Expert

Why Hire Us to Connect Podia and Shopify

Templates cover the happy path. We cover the rest, and we put the result in writing.

A direct line to the builder

You message the person who has your flow open. Questions about a trigger or a field get a straight answer.

Notes a colleague can follow

Our handover records what moves where and which settings were chosen, so a future developer will not have to guess.

A price you can plan around

The calculator shows the price and extra days for every package and option. Podia bills its own plan fees, so check its current pricing page.

Safety designed in

Every build includes retries, alerts, unique keys and narrow access; none are paid extras.

We live inside Shopify

We work with Shopify orders, refunds, edits and metafields daily. That depth is separate from knowing Podia's interface.

4.9+ from verified clients

The reviews here come from verified clients of Store Design Expert, so you can judge past projects before you pay.

What we need to get started

Getting Started: What We Ask For

The list is short. Most owners have everything ready in a day.

Approve a collaborator request

If the store is live, send us its address and approve our request. Ownership stays with you, our role is limited, and removal takes one click.

Starting from nothing? We build first

We can assemble the store in our own Shopify Partner account, connect Podia there, then hand the whole store over by ownership transfer. You pick a Shopify plan only at the end.

Or share a staff login

If it is simpler, a staff login will do. We prefer the collaborator route because it is revocable in one click and no password changes hands.

Your Podia access

You can create the account and invite us, or we can create it with your email. In both cases you hold the owner role, and we connect using an API key or an OAuth sign-in.

Sample records

Two or three representative records from each side are enough. They show us the true shape of your data.

A decision-maker

We need one person to approve the plan and the test, plus a rule for what wins when Podia and Shopify clash.

Your Shopify owner password and card details never reach us. Changes are made in a copy, and we note every setting we touch.

FAQ

Podia Integration FAQs

Answers on cost, timing, access, data and what to do when the connection misbehaves.

How much does Podia Shopify integration cost?

Single Workflow costs $390, Core Workflows $790 and Full Integration $1490. Order volume, data direction, existing Podia data and add-ons change the total, and the calculator shows it before you pay. Most projects land between about $390 and $2090, with delivery from 3 to 14 working days.

How long does the Podia integration take?

Single Workflow takes 3 to 5 working days, Core Workflows 5 to 9 and Full Integration 8 to 14. The usual variables are how much history you want loaded and how quickly you approve the test results. The Sooner and Fastest options shorten the schedule when a launch date is fixed.

Does Podia connect to Shopify?

Through Zapier; we found no native link.

Which Podia triggers exist?

New Sale, New Membership Signup and Course Completed are listed. Queries such as "podia course completed shopify" lead to the same build.

Can a Shopify order create a Podia record?

Zapier describes it. The same job is behind "shopify to podia sync".

Can a waitlist update stock?

Zapier describes updating Shopify inventory. The same service covers "connect shopify and podia".

Is the information current?

A 2017 post is one source, so we verify live. Another way to phrase it: "podia shopify zapier"; the work is the same.

Do customers duplicate?

Not if we match on email. Another way to phrase it: "podia shopify make.com"; the work is the same.

Can you build it?

Yes. This also answers "podia shopify n8n".
