Done-for-you Comm100 and Shopify connection

Shopify Comm100 Integration, Set Up by Shopify Specialists

A Shopify Comm100 integration is a supported Live Chat app: install it in your store, link your Comm100 account, and the chat button appears on the storefront with Shopify customer data in the Agent Console. Connections are managed from the Shopify Integration page in the Control Panel, which lists integrated stores. An eight-year-old release mentions cart content and order history. We set up, test and hand over, from $390.

  • App installed and account linked
  • Chat button placed and hours set
  • Customer and order data shown to agents

Who this is for

Who Hires Us for Shopify Comm100 Integration

Stores offering live chat want agents to see the cart and order history while talking. These are the cases we build for.

You are a good fit if
  • Your orders come through Shopify
  • Comm100 is, or will be, in your toolset
  • You would rather pay once than by the hour
  • You can review a test run with us
  • Stores offering live chat

The button appears on the storefront.

  • Teams giving agents context

Customer data shows in the console.

  • Teams helping at cart

Cart content was described in a release.

  • Multi-store merchants

    The Control Panel lists stores.

  • Teams staffing chat

    Hours and routing matter.

  • Teams reading old releases

The press release is about eight years old.

Problems solved

Shopify Comm100 Integration: Six Faults We Fix First

Live chat setups fail on data and staffing. These are the six faults we fix.

The problem

Customer data missing

The outcome

Agents ask twice. We verify the link.

The problem

Nobody online

The outcome

Visitors see a dead button. We set hours.

The problem

Wrong store linked

The outcome

Data mismatches. We check connections.

The problem

Widget covers buttons

The outcome

Sales drop. We test layouts.

The problem

Old features assumed

The outcome

Gaps appear. We confirm with Comm100.

The problem

No handover

The outcome

Setup is unwritten, so the next change starts from guesswork. We write down the triggers, fields and tests.

How the link works

Comm100 and Shopify: How the Connection Is Wired

Each connection follows the same path. The store sends an event, we check it against what Comm100 already holds, the right record is written and the change is logged where your support team can see it. The map shows the pieces we connect and test before handover.

How We Build Your Comm100 Integration, Step by Step

We follow the same six steps on every build, which is why the price can be fixed.

  1. 1

    Brief and scope

We start with questions: what you sell, how Comm100 fits your day and which events matter. Reading through your orders and tickets shows where the flow begins and what it must never touch.

  2. 2

    Access and connection

You approve narrow access to Shopify and Comm100, using an OAuth sign-in or an API token. We confirm the connection with a live read before building on it.

  3. 3

    Map and rule

Together we map ticket id, customer email, order number and status, decide which system wins each clash and write down how blanks behave.

  4. 4

    Build in a copy

A copy comes first: test data only, a visible plan and, where helpful, a recorded run.

  5. 5

    Test on real cases

Cases tested: a new ticket, a repeat customer and a refund request, plus refunds and edits. Every result is compared with Shopify's own figures.

  6. 6

    Go live and hand over

Once you approve, we switch the flow on, watch the first runs and hand over notes, a diagram and a short recorded tour.

Six Safeguards Built Into Every Comm100 Integration

Integrations move customer data between systems, so mistakes are costly. These practices come with every package and explain why a fixed fee can still be a careful one.

Nothing sent without approval

Emails, texts and posts that reach customers are approved by you before they are enabled.

Failures raise a flag

A named person receives an alert, with the order and the reason, whenever a run fails.

Secrets kept in a vault

Keys and tokens live in a secure vault, not in notes, spreadsheets or chat.

Counts compared, not assumed

Once data is loaded, we count both sides, so missing or doubled records show up early.

Build in a copy, never live

We never build on live data: the flow is tested on test records and your real orders and tickets wait for your approval.

Narrow access, in your name

We ask for the least access that works, through an OAuth sign-in or an API token, and every account stays under your ownership.

Larger packages add more triggers, more safety and more checks. The calculator shows the price and days for each choice.

Comm100 connected and one flow built: open the ticket with the order beside it, with fields mapped and the result tested.

  • Comm100 linked with an OAuth sign-in or an API token
  • Trigger for the event: a customer writes in
  • Ticket id, customer email and order number mapped
  • Duplicate protection on every write
  • Test on a new ticket and a repeat customer
  • A log of the tests and a short recorded tour

Three flows running: Comm100 will open the ticket with the order beside it; show the customer's orders to the agent; and create a refund request with the reason, plus filters, retries and alerts.

  • Everything in Single Workflow
  • Three triggers: a customer writes in; an order is placed; a refund is requested
  • Status plus custom fields matched
  • Filtering on tags, countries and totals
  • Failed runs retried, then reported
  • Checks on a new ticket, a repeat customer and a refund request

The full build: two-way sync, history, monitoring for two weeks and a runbook.

  • Everything in Core Workflows
  • Both-way sync with a winner for each field
  • A one-off catch-up of earlier tickets
  • A fortnight of run checks after launch
  • Review of access and roles
  • Runbook with the rules and the fixes

Custom objects, unusual authentication, several Shopify stores feeding one Comm100 account, high-volume stores above 10,000 orders a month, and builds that need your own servers are quoted separately at a fixed price.

How many orders does the store process a month?Required

More orders means more queuing, throttling and testing.

Should data move one way or both ways?Required

Fields that both systems change need a written winner.

What is already stored in Comm100?Required

We match what exists before anything new is written.

How soon do you need it live?Required

Standard follows the schedule your other choices set. Pay to move up the queue and go live sooner.

Optional extrasOptional

Each one begins switched off. Turn on what you need, watch the total, switch it back off.

Why Store Design Expert

Why Owners Choose Our Shopify Comm100 Integration Over Doing It Alone

Templates cover the happy path. We cover the rest, and we put the result in writing.

Experience since 2015

Over 450 Shopify stores since 2015 mean we have seen most of the odd cases that break integrations.

A direct line to the builder

You talk to the person working on your flow, and questions about a trigger or field get a plain answer.

Safety designed in

Retries, alerts, unique keys and narrow access are in every build, not offered as extras.

A price you can plan around

The calculator shows the price and extra days for every package and option. Comm100 bills its own plan fees, so check its current pricing page.

Tested on your real cases

Tests use the cases your store really sees, for example a new ticket, a repeat customer and a refund request.

We live inside Shopify

Orders, refunds, edits and metafields are daily work for us. That is a different skill from knowing the menus of Comm100.

What we need to get started

Getting Started: What We Ask For

Three things get the work moving: safe access, a few answers and a decision-maker. Here is the detail.

Approve a collaborator request

If the store is live, send us its address and approve our request. Ownership stays with you, our role is limited, and removal takes one click.

Starting from nothing? We build first

We can assemble the store in our own Shopify Partner account, connect Comm100 there, then hand the whole store over by ownership transfer. You pick a Shopify plan only at the end.

Or share a staff login

Sharing a staff login is possible. The collaborator route is safer, though: one click removes it and no password is passed around.

Your Comm100 access

Set up the account and invite us, or have us create it under your email. You stay the owner either way, and access runs through an OAuth sign-in or an API token.

Sample records

Send two or three typical records from each side, or tell us where to find them. Real examples show us how your data is actually shaped.

A decision-maker

Name the person who approves the plan and the test, and tell us which system should win when Comm100 and Shopify disagree.

We never need your owner password or payment details. Access is limited, logged and removable at any time.

FAQ

Questions About Comm100 and Shopify Integration

Answers on cost, timing, access, data and what to do when the connection misbehaves.

How much does Shopify Comm100 integration cost?

Single Workflow costs $390, Core Workflows $790 and Full Integration $1490. Order volume, data direction, existing Comm100 data and add-ons change the total, and the calculator shows it before you pay. Most projects land between about $390 and $2090, with delivery from 3 to 14 working days.

How long does the Comm100 integration take?

Single Workflow takes 3 to 5 working days, Core Workflows 5 to 9 and Full Integration 8 to 14. The usual variables are how much history you want loaded and how quickly you approve the test results. The Sooner and Fastest options shorten the schedule when a launch date is fixed.

Does Comm100 integrate with Shopify?

Yes, a Live Chat app.

What do agents see?

Customer data in the console. People also search for "comm100 shopify live chat app agent console customer data cart order history control panel integrated stores storefront"; the work is the same.

Where are stores managed?

The Control Panel. If you came here from "shopify to comm100 sync", this is the page for it.

How old is the press release?

About eight years. The same job is behind "connect shopify and comm100".

Do third parties list it?

Yes, less authoritative. Another way to phrase it: "comm100 shopify zapier"; the work is the same.

What does it cost?

Fixed price from $390 plus tool fees. Queries such as "comm100 shopify make.com" describe the same work.

Can you set it up?

Yes. You may also see it searched as "comm100 shopify n8n"; the same build answers that too.
